Finding peace, balance, and experiencing true happiness in our busy day-to-day lives can be quite a challenge. We all have different ways of striving for these things and I have tried many of them myself.

For me, Reiki therapy was one of my answers. It has become the most powerful ‘good thing’ that I do for myself. It helps me sleep incredibly well, have more clarity than ever before, and experience improved health and better relationships with everyone in my life. (Yes, everyone… from the stranger at the grocery store to my own mother!)

Each of you are in your own, unique journey. On my path, there is Reiki.

the story of how I got here…

For most of my life I have pretty consistently colored within the lines. I got good grades, had nice friends, did a wide range of activities, went to college, got the corporate job, made the money, made the mommy & daddy proud.

But I wasn’t happy. I remember thinking, “there has to be more.”

I changed everything, started to value my passions, and listened intently to myself. On the other end was a message, an answer, and it turned out to be that I am happiest when I can work with people who want to grow, discover, and heal.

I was introduced to Reiki and received my Level I attunement in Massachusetts and all the colors began to appear. I became in touch of the most powerful force of all—that unexplainable light that lives inside me. I learned that I have the innate ability to heal myself by reeling in the beautiful force that is around all of us.

I fell passionately in love, so I studied Advanced Reiki and Light Ascension Therapy (all 12 levels) with Ron Baker in New York City (www.empoweredatlast.com). There I received my Level I, II, III, and IV Reiki attunements. Level IV Reiki enables me to teach Reiki to others. (Interested? email me!)

Now, six years later, I am living in San Jose, California with my husband of four years and beautiful (and strong-willed!) 2-year-old daughter. Trust me, I have challenges I face every day. But having a new energy surrounding me helps me conquer each challenge with ease, grace, and a new outlook.

Life is good.
